We collect data as soon as you use the opportunity to enter personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses) on our website. This data is collected, stored and processed by us.
Your visit to our website is logged. Essentially, the IP address currently used by your PC, the date and time, the browser type and the operating system of your PC as well as the pages you have viewed are recorded. As a rule, it is not possible for us to make a personal reference, nor is this intended.
The personal data that you provide to us, e.g. when making an inquiry by e-mail (e.g. your name and address or your e-mail address), will only be processed for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you provided us with the data. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless we would be legally obliged to do so or you have given us your prior consent. Insofar as we make use of service providers for the execution and handling of processing procedures, the contractual relationships will be regulated in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act.
If you have provided us with personal data, you can delete it at any time. Data for billing and accounting purposes are not affected by a cancellation/revocation or deletion.
Personal data provided to us via our website will only be stored until the purpose for which it was entrusted to us has been fulfilled. Insofar as retention periods under commercial and tax law must be observed, the storage period for certain data may be up to 10 years.
A use of our offer takes place with the use of a cookie. The prerequisite for this is that you have activated the cookies in your browser settings. A randomly generated session code and, if applicable, your customer ID are stored in the cookie. This makes it possible to recognize you as a registered customer.
We use plugins from Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, such as the Facebook Like button ("Like" button) on some of our websites. This allows you to inform your Facebook friends if you like one of our pages.
When you call up a web page within our Internet presence that is provided with such a plugin, a connection to Facebook's servers is automatically established. This automatically transmits the same data to Facebook as if you were visiting facebook.com yourself, even if you are not a Facebook user and do not click the Like button. The following data is transmitted:
IP address
Browser version and operating system
Origin of visitors (referrer), if you have followed a link
Screen resolution
Installed plugins such as Flash or Adobe Reader
URL of the page on which the Like button is embedded
If you want to prevent data transmission, you must adjust the security settings in the Internet browser you use (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari) for this purpose. You will find instructions on how to do this under "Help" in your browser.
If you no longer agree with the storage of your personal data or if this data has become incorrect, we will arrange for the deletion or blocking of your data or make the necessary corrections (insofar as this is possible according to the applicable law) on the basis of a corresponding instruction. Upon request, we will provide you with information free of charge about all personal data that we have stored about you.
If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or if you wish to request information, correction, blocking or deletion of data, please contact us by e-mail at claudia.messer@ifb-stiftung.de.
